Lawrence Shoup has taught U.S. history at several universities, including San Francisco State and the University of Illinois. He is the author of five books. Three of them are on the topic of who rules America, including Imperial Brain Trust: The Council on Foreign Relations and United States Foreign Policy and most recently, Wall Street’s Think Tank: The Council on Foreign Relations and the Empire of Neoliberal Geopolitics 1976-2019.

Peter Phillips is a retired Political Sociologist at Sonoma State University; author of Giants: The Global Power Elite, (New York: Seven Stories Press, 2018); past director of Project Censored; co-author/editor of fourteen Censored yearbooks, 1997 to 2011; co-author of Impeach the President, (New York: Seven Stories Press, 2007); and winner of the Dallas Smythe Award from the Union for Democratic Communications.
