New York, 9 November 2014 – Elvira Gonzalez, 23, had to raise US $20, 000 on her own at age 14 to secure the release of her parents, both US citizens at the hands of kidnappers in a border town in Mexico. Ms. Gonzalez attended a demo in Union Square Park in Support of families of Murdered Mexican Students, Mexico was confronted with one of the grisliest tragedies in years of drug violence after gang suspects confessed to slaughtering 43 missing students and dumping their charred remains in a river.
